Looking out my window this morning and enjoying the sunrise and a little fog! The sun is a pretty pink still - sadly, from the fires on the West Coast. The smoke from the West Coast fires must be horrible for the people living there as the air quality here in Colorado is suffering. My thoughts go to the West Coast this morning in hopes that moisture will come soon to help snuff the fires out.
The August 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit is all about HOPE! I made the three designs from the kit at our Monthly Kit Gathering on Friday evening. We all oohed and aahed over this beautiful kit! The colors are so vibrant and the butterflies made my heart flutter. There are a few people in my life right now that need some uplifting hope. So this kit was just the inspiration for cards for them.
Now through August 31, you can purchase this kit from my online store without having to order a Subscription! There was an issue with Stampin' Up!'s ordering system during July 31 - August 5 - so they graciously opened to anyone to order this kit! The kit makes 9 beautiful cards (3 each of 3 designs - or you can make whatever you would like and extend to more). The Blackberry Bliss ribbon is a linen weave - it's so soft! The embellishments are an opalescent sequin - so pretty! I love the coordinating envelopes they are almost as pretty as the cards! The stamps including in this include two different sized butterflies, a cluster of flowers and a number of sentiments coordinating with the Hope theme. Lastly there is a very large butterfly and belly band to decorate your Hope Box for a loved one!
The coordinating colors of Stampin' Up! products are: Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Bumble Bee, Melon Mambo, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Poppy Parade. A perfect combination of Brights, Subtles and a Regal color thrown in.
Here are the other two beautiful cards from the kit design. I'm saving the remainder of my kit to make alternatives - I'll share in a couple of weeks.

Did you know that you can color this with your Stampin' Blends Makers? These markers are alcohol based and are perfect to make this beautiful glitzy paper sparkle in colors that you need to coordinate with any project.
I recently used Dark Pumpkin Pie to die cut a pumpkin and some leaves from the Detailed Pumpkins die set that comes bundled with the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle. Amazing! I can't wait to try some blues for snowflakes and reds/greens for holly & berries. OOOO - maybe some pink Christmas trees!

Check out the schedule for upcoming classes. The next class is the Pretty Pumpkins on September 11. I sent out a registration email on Saturday evening. Registration is due on Wednesday, 9/1 and payment on Thursday, 9/2 so I can place orders on Friday, 9/3.
