Taco Fiesta Piñata Card

 Happy Friday!  Another week blazed by.  I can't believe it's the middle of June already!  Seriously, I barely get up in the morning anymore and the day is over...  What have you been working on this week?  I am so excited that I am finally clearing off some projects off my stamping desk!  I played with Carousel Horses Bundle, Gone Fishing Bundle, Crafting With Friends Bundle (currently unavailable until 7/3) and lastly, my all time favorite - Taco Fiesta Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I used this stamp set for my Facebook Live this week and I am itching to get back to finishing up some more cards to use up all the silly taco related images!  

I had used this fun fold design that I cased from Dawn Griffith for my Masterfully Made card class from last Saturday.  It's such a easy fun fold and just is perfect to showcase images like this adorable Piñata!  I remember getting a piñata for my oldest son for a birthday party when he was young!  The kids had so much fun swinging to get to the candy.  I will be honest, it sorta scared the bejesus out of me how hard they were swinging at it.  It's a miracle no one got knocked down.  LOL!  I had fun hanging my colorful piñata from a Dark Real Red Stampin' Stampin' Blends Marker colored piece of White Twine!  

The thing I like the best about the Taco Fiesta stamp set is the adorable facial expressions that you can stamp onto your fun fiesta themed images!  I especially love the mustache and the "O" facial expressions!  I used the "O" facial expression on the inside of the card for the guacamole bowl!

This stamp set was designed by Erica Cerwin, of Pink Buckaroo Designs, to celebrate her $1 Million in sales milestone.  Stampin' Up! demonstrators that reach this tier in sales, get to visit the corporate headquarters in Riverton, Utah and be treated like a Queen!  They get to work with the talented artists at Stampin' Up! to design their very own special stamp set and sometimes Stamp/Die or Stamp/Punch bundle.  What an amazing honor for such an amazing milestone.  Erica is from San Antonio, so no wonder she created such an adorable fiesta themed set.

I hope you have a great Father's Day weekend!  We are swapping out beds for my mom in her new home at the Well House as she has been having some issues sliding off the bed and it's a taller bed so a bit further to bounce onto the ground - poor mom!  My hubby is such a trooper!  This is probably not how he wants to spend his special day, but it's all part of being a dad!  Even a dad to a sweet little old lady with some memory issues.
