Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Halloween 2023 Blog Hop!  I hope you enjoy hopping along today with this talented group for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they meet the challenge!  To hop along, click on the next talented blogger in the list at the end of my blog!

It's that time of year for the witches, goblins, pirates and princesses to make their yearly trek through the neighborhood with their treat bags to fill with sweet treats!

Halloween is my husband's favorite holiday hands down.  He loves to decorate the yard and is always on the look out for something new to add to his display.  We have neighbors that create a daily scene with skeletons and we get to guess the theme of the day!  Todays theme was "Where is Waldo?" Another neighbor enjoys sharing their CU Buffalo and Denver Bronco pride by staging a weekly football scene in their yard with skeleton players, coaches, cheerleaders, mascots and spectators!  I have to say - I just love fall - lol!

Today's Crafty Challenge Blog Hop is a Halloween Blog Hop.  Today, I chose to play with the Pick of the Patch bundle to make some sweet Halloween cards for my sons.  I like to give them a little gift card as a "big boy" treat - lol!

The Pick of the Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set has 5 different sized pumpkins and a gourd!  Gourds are so unique and I was so excited to see one in this set.   I especially enjoyed making crows to decorate the card fronts.  They are a perfect Halloween pumpkin creature to embellish your Halloween projects.

The Pick of the Patch Builder Punch punches out 2 of the pumpkin images along with a stem and a leaf to adorn your pumpkins.  I punched a template so I could stamp all of the images and punch at the same time.  Of course I didn't figure this out until after I stamped a number of images and then had to trim them down in order to punch them out without ruining them!  LOL!

I don't create enough with the rich colors of fall.  I am thrilled when Autumn comes as I can't get enough of creating with all of these rich colors.  I used Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Garden GreenPecan Pie, and Pumpkin Pie on this sweet pumpkin card.  Another product that I don't use enough are the versatile Countryside Corners Dies to create the multiple layers for the card front.  So playful right?

I made another variation of the card by using a Pumpkin Pie striped DSP and stamping images of the falling leaves using Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry randomly on the Crumb Cake background.  Which do you like better?

The 2023 September - December mini catalog has some very cute Halloween bundles including Bag of Bones, Trick & Treats, and the Pick of the Patch Bundles to craft your Halloween projects.  I have been crafting treat bag toppers with the Bag of Bones and these skeletons are so very cute!  I think that the charming truck from Trucking Along Bundle would provide a perfect setting to carry some pumpkins!
